Kitchen Projects

Puffer Kitchen

This customer brought in a sample of Cambria that he wanted to purchase for the kitchen of the house he had just purchased.  He wanted me to design a white kitchen that would please his girlfriend but wouldn't break his budget.  The only requests he made were that the design include the farm sink his girlfriend wanted, and to design a bar that mimicked the one his parents had. In this design we used American Woodmark cabinets and the Gettysburg White Thermofoil door. 

Lockett Kitchen

This customer came to me saying she had purchased a custom Kraftmaid hutch 3 years ago and wanted her kitchen/laundry room to match.  The hutch featured staggered heights on the wall cabinets.  I mimicked that feature over the stove and in the laundry room.  She also wanted to showcase some items in the dead space above her sink.  I stacked some small cabinets with glass over the sink so that she could proudly display her items. This kitchen features Lyra Silestone countertops that the customer was ecstatic about after learning that the twins stadium also had them installed.

Turner Flip

A real-estate agent who enjoyed purchasing and flipping homes to put back on the market came in wanting to spend the least amount of money and still get a great looking kitchen.  I did my best to accomplish that with these American Woodmark cabinets with the Ashland Maple door and Espresso stain, and St. Cecelia Classc countertops (which he purchased from Stone Source along with his backsplash!).  The biggest design challenge was the lack of space next to the gas stove which we could not move due to the location of the gas line. I put a tray base cabinet to the right and a set of open shelves above that (the customer thought it would be cool...he was right).
